As the title partner of the European Handbike Circuit, Invacare attended Castelldefels’ race for the second consecutive year. On Saturday 12th of April, the races took place at the “Canal Olímpic de Cataluña” and on Sunday 13th of April, the athletes had the chance to compete again this year on the “Paseo Marítimo”, by the sea.

Joël Jeannot (FR) won the time trial race of 12 km – crossing the finish line after 00:19:29. He also won the road race of 38 km in 01:01:49 on Sunday, both in the MH4 category.

Visitors were offered refreshment during the races at the Invacare® Top End® booth which was placed in front of the race ceremony area. Invacare products were on display such as the Küschall Advance®, the Invacare® Top End® Force 2 and Force RX, for people to try them out. Invacare product specialists were there to answer any questions on the products and an Invacare® Top End® technician offered free technical service to the athletes before and during the race.
Invacare was glad to receive the visit of Catalan customers who wanted to attend this great event for the weekend.

A draw between the athletes who attended the events was organised by the athletes. Martín Berchesi and Isaac Mateos, from Handbike Club Barcelona, both won a set of great sportive equipment to practise handbike.
