Kuschall became the perfect companion for Citroën’s new AMI [for] ALL compact electric vehicle, which was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show 2024 this week.

The Paris Motor Show, officially known as “Mondial de l’Automobile,” is one of the world’s largest and most prestigious automotive exhibitions.

Every two years, thousands of manufacturers, car enthusiasts, politicians, and change-makers from around the world attend the show at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

Citroën’s AMI [for] ALL is ultra-compact and designed to navigate tight city spaces. It represents a shift towards more accessible and sustainable personal transportation options and is particularly suited for anyone with reduced mobility and accessibility requirements.

Developed and converted in collaboration with PIMAS, a French leader specialising in conversions for persons with reduced mobility, the unique “AMI [for] ALL” incorporates functional mechanical adaptations that allow wheelchair users to access on-board, store a wheelchair in or outside the vehicle, and drive with ease.

Kuschall, designed for active wheelchair users, was the preferred companion for the Citroën AMI [for] ALL.

Claire Nadaud, Global Head of Active Manual Wheelchairs at Invacare France, said, “We are thrilled to share the stage with Citroën this week. The AMI [for] ALL vehicle aligns perfectly with Invacare’s mission of Making Life’s Experiences Possible.

“It is wonderful to see car manufacturers like Citroen stepping into the accessible and inclusive design space to appeal to people with all abilities.

“By bringing together innovative wheelchair designs from Kuschall and Citroën’s accessible vehicle technology, we will help make mobility easier, more empowering and more integrated into everyday life for those with mobility challenges.”

Pascal Masapollo, Managing Director of PIMAS said: "We are proud to be opening the doors of inclusive mobility to many new users.  We are pleased to collaborate at the Paris Motor Show with partners Invacare and Citroën and see the AMI [for] ALL on the road in many different regions in France. We plan for the AMI [for] ALL to become available across more countries in Europe in 2025."
