Küschall, renowned for its pioneering designs and use of state-of-the-art materials, has today unveiled the latest addition to its product line: the Küschall Champion SL.
The all-new chair introduces a range of innovative features that will improve the experience for wheelchair users. Unveiling the new design, Küschall explained that the new Champion SL chair is “made to travel and built to perform”.
Super light and rigid, the Champion SL blends the convenience of the first folding rigid chair, the Champion, with the premium, high-performance features of the KSL model. With enhanced frame rigidity, users can experience an improved drive and reduced energy loss while propelling, resulting in a smoother and more efficient ride. Its folding mechanism not only simplifies storage but also enhances portability without sacrificing the wheelchair's robust structure. At a transport weight of just 5.9kg, it is remarkably lightweight, promoting better handling and reducing user fatigue.
Commenting at the launch, Sofie Vercaemer – Invacare’s Global Category Director of Manual Wheelchairs said “We are very happy to be launching the new Champion SL. Users can experience a chair that is super light and rigid whilst still benefiting from the convenience of a folding chair. This is a great addition to our Küschall range and will make a real difference for active wheelchair users.”
The Champion SL is the latest wheelchair in the Küschall product line. Küschall has developed several technical innovations that have changed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people with reduced mobility across the globe. The company – part of the Invacare group – has created numerous wheelchair designs which represent the benchmark in today’s world of mobility, especially in terms of lightness and performance.
