Introducing Robin EVO, our new and advanced ceiling hoist. A next generation solution in patient care that prioritises safety, dignity and comfort.
Its design maintains many of the popular features from the earlier Robin generation, with a renewed focus on supporting quality single-handed care and helps reduce physical strain on caregivers to minimise work-related injuries and contribute to a safer working environment.
With an increase in manual handling regulations and staff shortages, patient handling activities such as transferring, needs to be done with less available caregivers. Ceiling hoists can contribute to making life easier for care staff.
Our Robin EVO ceiling hoist is an effective and efficient manual handling solution for dignified transfers and patient satisfaction.
A unique 2-strap concept is designed to promote positive patient interaction, which helps to reduce anxiety and builds trust and reassurance during transfer. This eliminates the need for a spreader bar, ensuring patients feel less restricted and more connected.
Robin EVO prioritises positive patient interaction as well as welcoming extra safety features and even more efficiencies.
Key features:
Unique 2-strap concept promotes eye-to-eye contact for positive patient interaction and effective communication.
LED display shows operational function during use, giving extra reassurance and for easier troubleshooting.
Operating lights glow blue when in use.
Safety comes first with emergency pull cord, electrical and mechanical lowering.
Easy-to-use handset with battery power levels indicator, featuring 3 LED lights for added convenience.
Robin EVO is designed specifically for patients who are unable to independently mobilize and need support from caregivers. This level of mobility has been identified as level D and E, according to MK5’s mobility classification.
In MK5 the functional mobility is classified into five levels (A, B, C, D and E) based on the resident’s limitations and ability to cooperate during the transfer. LOCOmotion (Knibbe & Knibbe)
